United Nations Day

On October 22, PBAW celebrated UN Day. This annual event at our school celebrates not only the historical importance of the founding of the UN, but also showcases the many countries represented at our school between students and teachers. This year our 30 country exhibits included a few new countries like Macedonia and Zimbabwe. Students randomly selected their country and created displays and exhibits about cities, history, architecture, famous people, flora and fauna, and of course food! Classes were escorted throughout the exhibits and Year 8 students were docents who gave information about each country. Each student received a stamp for their passports as well. Students and parents did a fantastic job creating beautiful exhibits of each country. Well done all!
