Tomasz Wojnowski - experienced coach and former basketball player (1996–2012) who has been working with children and young people in Poland and abroad since 2004. His extensive career includes coaching both girls’ and boys’ teams across various league levels.
The primary aim of these classes is not the team’s final score, but the individual development of each child. Training sessions are designed to teach self-discipline, responsibility, and perseverance, while above all bringing joy and motivation to continue making progress.
Mr Wojnowski sets clear goals for the children, with the understanding that the journey towards achieving them is more valuable than the result itself.
The basketball and football sessions are based on the innovative IMOPEKSIS method—a unique approach to physical education and sports training that goes beyond traditional practice.
IMOPEKSIS focuses not only on athletic performance but also on the holistic development of every child. It is a complete system of training and education that nurtures physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth.
This method also fosters so-called “soft skills”, which are crucial in today’s world. Through specially designed exercises and games, children develop abilities such as teamwork, responsibility, creativity, initiative, communication, empathy, concentration, stress management, self-discipline, and problem-solving. They learn that striving for a goal is just as important as achieving it.
Every child — regardless of age, gender, or natural ability — has the opportunity to develop their skills. Training is tailored to participants’ needs and is structured in stages:
In addition, participants will be able to join the Wilanów Basketball League (WBL) — a project by Mr Wojnowski under the honorary patronage of the Mayor of Wilanów District — offering children the opportunity to pursue their sporting passions through real competition.
You can find out more about the WBL on its official Facebook page.
Research shows that children in Poland are becoming increasingly inactive — only around 17% meet the recommended daily standard of physical activity. The IMOPEKSIS method addresses this problem by placing movement at the centre of education while supporting all-round development.
Through this approach, children learn through play, cooperation, and hands-on experience, which produces lasting benefits: the growth of social, emotional, and cognitive skills, as well as healthy physical habits.
👉 Basketball and football at our school are not just about sport — they are an investment in your child’s health, character, and future.

Every teacher would dream of a scenario when students look forward to their lessons, work actively in class and inconspicuously acquire new skills. These result in a fantastic test score, and later in the use of math skills in everyday life, because math is everywhere - at school, in the store and in every office. To get students to like maths, you need an idea.
These classes develop mathematical interests for students who would like to move freely in the fascinating world of numbers. Mathematics classes develop imagination, shape mathematical thinking, improve numeracy and the ability to find ways to solve any problem. The ability to think logically and mathematically helps to justify one's own opinion and overcome unforeseen difficulties, it also supports one's own development in other areas.
Instructor: Marlena Pyrka - early years education teacher, long-time teacher of extracurricular classes in mathematics.

We use mathematics, the queen of sciences, in many aspects of life, including the youngest children. Often, when walking around the school grounds, I hear students talking about mathematics – usually ending with a loud sigh expressing their dissatisfaction. There is a lack of enthusiasm and curiosity about this subject, and some students even feel aversion to learning mathematics.
That is why we offer additional classes that allow students to learn in a friendly and supportive environment, without the pressure of keeping up with others or competing for better grades. Our goal is to make students feel confident, believe in their own abilities and see mathematics not only as a challenge, but also as a source of joy.
During the classes, children will actively participate in lessons, which will strengthen their motivation to learn. A friendly, welcoming atmosphere will create conditions conducive to effective work for both students and teachers, and each success will be a reason for satisfaction and further development.

Sensory integration is a natural process that occurs in each of us. If for some reasons it does not develop sufficiently, we can observe a delayed or disharmonious development of the child, extensive behavioural problems or learning difficulties.
The aim of sensory integration therapy is to stimulate the central nervous system by stimulating the sensory receptors. The aim of this process is to provide the sensory system with the right quantity and quality of impulses, so that on the basis of these the brain can learn to respond appropriately and develop correct adaptive reactions.
Therapeutic intervention involves the planned stimulation of the three basic, primary senses: touch, proprioception and balance, which form the basis for the development of higher, more advanced sensory processing skills.

During my lessons I like to connect fun with useful. I would like kids to actually learn something, but I prioritize just having a good time while playing chess. I operate on a big magnetic chess board, where I show chess exercises. Besides that, in the classroom there are chess boards - each for every two children. Apart from solving chess puzzles and kids playing against themselves, I introduce different variants of playing chess, like: team chess (4 players and 2 boards) as well as hand-and-brain chess (4 players and 1 board).
Everyone is welcome, regardless of skill level. I hope everyone will enjoy learning chess and like it even more!
UKS Miłośnik is a sports club that has been operating for over 20 years and is licensed by the Polish Gymnastics Association. We hold classes all over Warsaw, but our headquarters is located in Wesola, where we run competitive athletes who successfully compete in national acrobatic competitions.
Acrobatics requires a lot of flexibility, agility and synchronization of movements, so it makes players develop the whole body during training, which is very important in the development of a child. During the classes, the coach focuses on exercises that enhance strength and endurance, coordination and balance; stretching, concentration and teamwork skills.
The classes will be led by Zofia Mikulska - a certified sports acrobatics coach licensed by the Polish Gymnastics Association. She completed a coaching course, obtaining official qualifications and a license from the Polish Gymnastics Association. With great commitment and passion, she conducts classes for children and young people, focusing on the joy of movement, overcoming personal barriers, and the satisfaction of progress. She continuously develops her own skills as well, which further inspires her students.

We are two-time Polish Champions in Latin American dances and certified dance instructors. Since 2019, we have been working with children and young people – from preschoolers to competitive youth dance couples. We co-create the “Tańcz Amore” project together with Stefano Terrazzino, develop our stage skills, participate in dance and vocal performances, and continue to actively compete at a professional level.
As members of the Polish National Team of the Polish Dance Society, we proudly represent Poland at competitions across Europe and around the world. We also hold degrees in pedagogy and psychology.
Dance has been an inseparable part of our lives for as long as we can remember, and we find great joy in passing this passion on to our students. The aim of our classes is to encourage the development of coordination and the expression of emotions through movement, using a variety of dance styles – modern, hip-hop, ballroom, and more.
