We cordially invite all parents and students to the Polish British Academy’s annual United Nations Day Celebration.
On October 24, 1945 the United Nations was established as an intergovernmental organization responsible for maintaining international peace and security, developing friendly relations among nations, achieving international cooperation, and being a center for harmonizing the actions of nations.
On the initiative of Parents Association every year on this day, our school celebrates the unique diversity of its student population by hosting an exposition of the countries represented by our students and staff. This year we will be showcasing 24 different countries through exhibits, food and entertainment.
All Parents and students are welcome to celebrate with us, dress in traditional clothing from chosen countries, bring food to share and offer information to classmates through a “tour around the world.”

**Table set-up and decorating begins at 8:00. Items and posters can be delivered to school earlier in the week. Please make arrangements with the teachers assigned to each group.
